Great Britain and Malta have claimed the first wins in the 2022 IHF Trophy of the European zone, for the junior age group (U20).
In the opening game of the championship, Great Britain edged out Bulgaria 23:22, to boost their chances of winning the competition.
In the other match played on Tuesday, at the Palace of Youth and Sports in Prishtina, Malta claimed a 34:33 win against Andorra.
On Wednesday, the other two matches of the U20 age group. Bulgaria and Malta play from 12:00, while Great Britain and Kosovo meet from 18:00.
